60 minute CrossFit classes that incorporate high intensity training and a variety of movements including complex gymnastics and weightlifting.

Specialty classes

60 minute classes that focus more on a specific movement or parts of a movement that are used in CrossFit. For example weightlifting (clean and jerk, snatch) 

Personal Training bij CrossFit Hilversum

Personal training

Train for 1 hour with a personal trainer towards realistic goals you have set. This could be anything from becoming stronger in your back squat to overcoming fear of a handstand.

OREC Fysiotherapie


OREC stands for Orthopedic Rehab and Expertise Centre. They are your go to people when you need a check up or need expert eye to look at and treat an injury. Preventing is always better than treating. So let them check you out every once in a while.

Ewout Reitsema

Owner & coach

Ewout is the owner and head coach of Crossfit Hilversum. When Ewout first experienced CrossFit in 2013 one thing was certain; Crossfit became his biggest passion. Ewout is specialized in giving all of his athletes a training that suits them the best. 

Favorite movements: the Clean, and a love for all technical gymnastic movements.

Liz van den berg


Liz started as an energetic CrossFit Hilversum member. By day she works as a communication manager. Most of the time you can find Liz teaching classes on Wednesday’s and the CrossFit Basics classes. But you can still train side by side in the group lessons with her.

Favorite movements: burpees (not kidding), overhead squats and snatches.

What is CrossFit?

CrossFit is constantly varied functional movements performed at high intensity. All CrossFit workouts are based on functional movements, and these movements reflect the best aspects of gymnastics, weightlifting, running, rowing and more. These are the core movements of life. They move the largest loads the longest distances, so they are ideal for maximizing the amount of work done in the shortest time. Intensity is essential for results and is measurable as work divided by time—or power. The more work you do in less time, or the higher the power output, the more intense the effort. By employing a constantly varied approach to training, functional movements and intensity lead to dramatic gains in fitness.

Opening hours & Schedule

All Crossfit classes take around 60 minutes, we encourage members to come early and work on some mobility homework given by one of our coaches.
